COVID-19 Infection Control Policy

Jeremy Robinson, Dentist

Effective infection control procedures have always been a foundational key in keeping our patients and team members safe and healthy. Since COVID-19, we’ve increased our infection control practices to include additional measures that meet and exceed ADA guidelines.

✅  Hand sanitizer is provided and encouraged upon arrival and throughout your visit.

✅  Social Distancing Measures:
We have positioned all chairs in the waiting room 6ft apart in support of social distancing recommendations. We also have seating available for patients as a secondary option for social distancing.

✅  All magazines and children’s toys have been removed from our waiting area to decrease the risk of infection.

✅  Office Disinfection:
All contact surfaces are cleaned daily and between each patient. We use Z3, a hospital-grade surface disinfectant. This product meets the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes the disease COVID-19.

✅  Our office has exceeded ADA standards by installing a UV disinfection system in the office’s HVAC that delivers UV light to penetrate pathogen cell walls and render them unable to replicate. This UV system delivers measurable doses needed to kill pathogens such as the coronavirus.

✅  Personal Protective Equipment:
Our team is fully equipped with all of the latest PPE necessary to preserve the healthiest and safest clinical environment.  All team members have masks and effective face and eye protection.

✅  While not mandated, patient face coverings/masks are recommended while not in the treatment areas.

✅  COVID Testing of Staff:
To ensure the safety of our patients and staff, our team has been preventatively tested for Coronavirus.

✅  Training:
Our entire team has undergone training regarding the new protocols developed by the ADA. We are fully prepared to see our patients in the safest dental environment possible and feel we can confidently deliver care to our patients.
